Bass Fishing Report; Whitefish; June 16-19, 2006

The weather was up and down with sun and rain all days. Temps in the upper 50's to around 80 when the sun would shine. We started off fishing smaller lakes in the area and finding fish in the cabage weeds and along outside of weed lines. Throwing White/Chart swim jigs and Angling Innovations new "Nano Dawg" were the key to the weed fishing. Outside weed lines fish seem to like worms and swim jigs. Water temps in the upper 60's to lower 70's.

On Whitefish we seemed to find the fish on inside weed lines and some Smallie's still on beds. The fish were very active despite the weather conditions changing from hour to hour. The fishing will only get better with the weather being more stable and the spawn coming to a end.
