Water temperature 83 degrees – wind 4 mph out of the northwest.
The
smallmouth fishing is still very good on Red Cedar Lake. Brian Beebe (deafboy
for the FB Message Board) and I got out today and fished from 8am to
1pm. Although there is a good population of largemouth in this 3 lake
chain, our target was smallmouth. We fished 6 or 7 of the many mid-lake
humps and found the fish cooperative. Look for 9
to 13’ of water with 30’ of water close by and you will find fish. I
