This past weekend Alex and I had Team Supreme out of Lansing . On Thursday before the storms hit I found the fishing to be amazing. Fishing main channel rocks and points I was able to get an idea of a game plan for Sunday. But this quickly evaporated as the water and flow increased greatly.

On Friday I focused on flipping cut banks with wood and didn't find much either.  Alex and I were able to put together a solid limit of 16.02 lb. for 12th place. We fished points with Rattletraps and Gambler Bacon Rinds.

Something that we were keying in on was finding areas that had no dead eel grass and where the current there was a current break just above the spot we were fishing.  Over the past two weeks I have began to use the Nitro bass gravy scents and am very impressed, if it is just for my confidence or if it gives my baits that little extra.
