Fishing Report; Mississippi River Pool 9; July 1and 2, 2006
Saturday afternoon I spent on pool 9 with my friend Adam. Much like last weekend on this pool, the fish were extremely active. We used a variety of baits, but tubes, spinner baits and swim jigs took a large majority of our fish. Here are two pictures of some of the fish we caught on Saturday; the smallie topped the scales at 3 lb.'s. Adam and I again hit pool 9 for a couple hours Sunday morning and used a variety of topwater baits, including buzzbaits, Cane Toad's, and Spro Rojas Frogs. |
