We got out for a few hours yesterday. We started off trying some sight fishing for any bedding bass but the sun wasn't working in our favor and with the recent weather we've had lately, just don't think it's the right time yet.

One thing is for certain is that there is a TON of baitfish in certain area's of the pool right now. We found a back pocket that it didn't matter where you through, you could see baitfish scattering all over the place. It was interesting to find that the Northerns had taken over the middle parts of the bay (in scattered weeds) and pushed the bass tight into the receding flooded grass along the banks. We found that if we through into open water we would catch Northerns, but as soon as we threw our jigs up onto the mat and drug it over the edge we would get slammed. We didn't catch any big fish, but the numbers made up for it.
