Yesterday was the kickoff of my weekly Bass fishing club - "Jerkin' Lips". I know some of you guys already know who we are, but for any that don't, we're just a small group (16) of guys mostly from work who get together each week for a small friendly night of fishing. 2 fish limit keeps things simple, and it's all about having fun and learning/sharing information from the afternoon of fishing.

Last night was a great night of fishing. Not a lot of pigs to be caught, but many of us pounded fish in the 2-2.5lb range. I found a wind blown cove that was packed w/baitfish and it didn't matter where we through our spinners and swimjigs, we kept getting bit. Most other guys were catching fish w/the same baits, but the key seemed to be a moving lure/reaction bait type bite.
