Bass Fishing Report: Mississippi River Pool 5 - June 5th, 2006
The
Largemouth are going good on Pool 5. Tubes
seem to be a good bet with numbers of 14-16 inch fish coming from
current with weeds. Under cut banks are also
producing with current on them. Points of islands
and sand flats. Smallie’s and Largie’s
are chasing minnows right now. We caught a lot of Smallmouth with Flukes
and Tubes. The Smallie’s are chasing on
current brakes with sand and rock. Water temp is low 70’s and has good
color. The water level is good right now with the draw down beginning
soon. Good
