Bass Fishing Report; Mississippi River Pool 4; Pepin, WI; April 8,
2006
Got out on the river Saturday. It was nice to be out on open water
again. Fishing was a little slow. Talk to a few people and they all said
the same thing. We ended up with 2 smallies and a nice 3 -3 1/2 lb
largemouth. Not bad for the first outing. The smallies came from a
marina on lake Pepin and the largemouth came off some wood in the back
waters. Water temps were about 45 for the most part did find some water
around a culvert that was 49. Lots of people out. I will be out again
next saturday, I will let you know how it goes.
