Bass Fishing Report; Lake Wisconsin, July 20, 2007

Conditions:
Partly Cloudy
77 degrees air temperature
80 degree water temperature
Water color was cloudy 1 foot vis.
Winds from the East at 5-10

Went out last night for some fishing on Lake Wisconsin and had a marginal night of bass fishing. I am still trying to figure out what has been making the water some cloudy/muddy all year long. I have never seen it this bad for this long in the 30 odd years my parents have lived on the lake.

I ended up catching a solid limit of bass that would have went about 12.5 pounds last night. I stayed away from some of my better stuff as I have a tournament coming up and want them to stay fresh. I worked a few areas I normally fish to see if the bass have moved into those areas yet, but they are still not there. The shad seem a little small yet and not as numerous as they have been the past few years. The best results I had last night were using a brovarney baits swim jig and also pitching plastics.

If you have4 any questions, drop me a message and I will give you additional info as needed.

Tight lines and God Bless
Darin
