Bass Fishing Report; Lake
Puckaway, June 22, 2006
All I can say is WOW.
Lake Puckaway was on fire this morning. I was out this morning with a
friend and we just smoked the LMB. We caught 7 keepers that were over
3lbs with our best 6 pretty close to 21lbs along with 10 or so 12-15
inchers. We fished mainly a Brovarney Baits Swim Jig in the Blue Devil
pattern with a junebug single tail grub as the trailer and a Sizmic Toad
thru thick pads and slop.
Oh by the way, this was all in the first 1.5 hours before the trolling
motor died and we headed for home.
What a day! I would have loved to been able to stay out all day, I think
we would have really got on some big fish.
