Bass Fishing Report; Rend Lake; Sep 23, 2007

Fish seem to be moving into a fall pattern but there are still many fish holding to their summer homes. Fish are being caught on crankbaits, shaky heads, tubes and jigs on the rocks. A strong bite also remains in the sink holes around the big island on the upper end of the lake. The productive areas seem to be those with wind present on the back side of the island but fish are also being caught towards the front.

Many fish are also being caught on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jigs and tubes on the shallow flats on the upper end of the lake as they begin to move into a full fall feed.

Fishing is good right now and it should take good weights at the upcoming Shriners tournament.
