Bass Fishing Report; Rend Lake; April 28, 2007

The fish are spawning on Rend Lake right now although my team did catch a post spawn fish on Saturday so there are some of those as well. The water has fallen about 6 inches over the last week and continues to fall. The water fell about 3 inches overnight from Friday to Saturday. The top finishers in the BWS tourney on Saturday caught their fish extremely shallow and around brush on the north end of the lake. Flipping tubes and jigs in the middle of bushes and willow trees were productive pattern as well as slow rolling spinnerbaits around the bushes.
