Bass
Fishing Report; Kentucky and Barkley Lakes; Feb. 1, 2006 Air Temp: High 32 / Low 26 Water Temp: 43 Water Elevation: 355.2 Water Clarity: Clear
We’re right in the middle of an
extended cold spell here in If you do have the urge to go, I’d fish 18’ to 25’ deep in the mouths of bays with jigs and minnows for Crappie. For bass, I’d fish 20’ to 30’ with a 1/4oz jig and finesse worm. The best action might be fishing a 1/4oz jig head and minnow 30’ to 40’ deep on the main river channel for Sauger. The action should get real good with the
next warm spell. Hope to have more info for you next time! Capt Kirk, out! Captain Kirk's Guide Service |
