Tyson Reports:

The bass bite continues to be great, the bigger females have moved in.  Bass are coming to the
bank to spawn, with several already locked on bed. They can be difficult to see, but I assure you
they are there.

The jig bite continues to be great, flipping around weeds and wood seem to produce well, 3/8 to
1/2 ounce
Ultimate Lunker Lure  jigs in  Black and Blue and Texas Craw tipped with a black
chunk trailer and green pumpkin seems to produce best.  Concentrate in shallow water ranging
from 0 - 4 foot deep.

Spinnerbaits are also producing bass, or maybe it is just the new color
 HawgCaller
has put together, its been one of the hottest colors for 2008.  HawgCaller has started producing
Sexy Shad Spinnerbaits in just about any blade combination or weight you want. They are not in
stores yet, but if you e-mail Jack at
LureStaff@5starind.com  he can get you an order together
and ship it directly to you.  I would get-em quick while supplies last!
I have already  been catching bass on these baits, I have been throwing double willow in 3/8
ounce around the weed beds. The bass are aggressively attacking these spinnerbaits on a
medium to medium fast retrieve.

I also caught a few bass on
Lunker Lures  flat shad buzz bait. This buzzer truly has a unique
sound that no other buzzer on the market has. The body is made of a plastic material that lets it
get to the surface fast and also allows for a slow retrieve.

The last technique that I used on this fantastic day was a 1/4 ounce Pro Series Tournament Frog
in Black with Blue Diamonds, Color #6691 . This frog is in a class of its own. It has premium
Owner hooks and internal glass rattles. You can order this frog directly from
SNAGPROOF
I was throwing it in the nastiest  slime on the lake and hooking the bass with ease thanks to the
perfect angle of these hooks.  Some anglers may not know that  you can catch bass off beds with
a frog, I caught a 4 pounder off bed today with this presentation!
