Bass Fishing Report; Lake Egypt ; March 9, 2007

Location:             Lake of Egypt
Lake Temp:         46 (South End) 60 (North End)
Wind:                  5-15 mph South Southwest
Air Temp:             40 to 70 degrees

The bite is really picking up at Lake Egypt ! Fish can be caught in a variety of ways. Good fish are being caught on Jigs and Carolina rigs fished fairly deep. Suspending Jerkbaits, crankbaits and there is also a good shallow flipping bite developing.

A list of baits that produced for me include: jigs, creature baits, spinnerbaits, Carolina rigs and crankbaits.

Fish were caught in depths ranging from 3ft to 20ft and quality fish seem abundant right now. Nothing huge but 3 to 5 pound fish are common.

To put it simply bass fishing on Egypt is excellent right now with a variety of patterns working. I was unable to identify one dominant pattern but fish your strengths right now and chances are you will be successful!

Fish On!
