    Tyson Reports:

The bite has been great, I look for it to improve even more in the next week or two.
The bass are moving up slowly, good areas will replenish themselves. Some of the best bass fishing of the year is happening now.

The best techniques are spinnerbait, crankbaits, carolina rig, shakey head,  lipless crankbaits and jig.

Look for staging areas, this is where the bass will bunch up before the spawn. This will include points, secondary points, flats, roadbeds and creek ledges.

With all the rain the lake is muddy to stained, and will stay that way for a while. We have 6 in. of rain fore casted for this week.

Try using bigger profile baits in the muddy water, also baits with plenty of vibration should work well.

Color is also a major factor,  bright colors like fire tiger, orange, and red will produce on the horizontal moving baits, if you use plastics try using black, blue fleck, or

green pumpkin.
The addition of scent or dyes will also help in the muddy water.

If you use some of these techniques I'm sure you will have a productive outing.
