Bass Fishing Report; Lake Egypt ; Dec. 10, 2006

SnS Guide Service

Lake Temp : 54 degrees (North End)
Crappie: Good catch (43 crappie) 
Wind: 5-10 mph w/ up to 20 mph gust out of S - SW
Arrival: 11:00 am
Depart: 5:00 pm

I searched for shallow crappie for about an hour & 1/2, then ending up finding them around 8 - 10 foot deep around scattered weeds and brush.  Catching 43 keepers, up to 2 3/4 lbs on 1/8 ounce curly tail jigs (black & chartruese)  

Deciding we had enough crappie, went to play with the Bass for about an 1 1/2 - 2 hours.  Catching, 8 Bass ( 5 keepers ).  Nothing of really large size. 

We caught the Bass around the breaks of weeds, 6' - 10' deep. Using 200 series bandit crawfish pattern crankbait, on 12 lb. fluorocarbon line. 

Sorry no pics of the Bass, but they were just average keepers 16 1/2 - 17 inchers. Even though the ABA Bass Tournament only took 7 1/2 lbs.
