The
Friday night meeting was great as usual. We were treated to ribeye
sandwich's with baked beans, potato salad, chips and brownies for
dessert. A special thank you goes out to our brother Jon
Morissette and the Lakeside Christian Church for serving our Lord
by supporting our ministry. We look forward to seeing you again.
After supper we had a wonderful time of worship, which is always
good before getting into God's Word. Then Jon brought us the
Gospel. He told us how we will all be caught in Jesus' net one day
and then Jesus will sort the good fish from the bad fish. What
kind of fish are you? The message was powerful! As God's Word
always is, Amen?
Saturday morning was calm and temperatures were in the low 60's.
Eleven teams took to the water with hopes of winning our third
tournament of the season. The temperature climbed to around 80 by
noon and the water was clearer on the North side of the lake. The
recent rains had stained up the water pretty bad south of the
Lindsay Brige. Many fish were caught but not many keeper's. Only
12 keeper's were weighed in. No limits were caught.

The
first place team of Dan Berns and Earl Waughop only needed 3 fish
to seal the deal with 7.62lbs to take the win. Congratulations
guy's.

2nd
Place was Bob Nelson and Jack(BASS) Peplow with 2 fish weighing
6.24lbs with the Big Bass weighing 3.17lbs.

3rd
Place was Shane Myers and Miles Clark with 2 fish weighing
4.49lbs.and Second Big Bass of 2.88lbs.
