heavyweight bass. At
the conclusion of Day 1 anglers Dan McDowell and Eric Ballinger
set the mark at 15lbs and 15 oz, right behind them was the team of
Brett Boldrey and Mike Pitchford with 15 lbs 7oz, setting the
stage for a very interesting Day 2.
The team of McDowell and Ballinger also had the day’s
biggest fish.
Day
2 began with anglers enjoying more beautiful weather.
It was evident to see that again the
Rend
Lake
bass had cooperated as many anglers brought five fish limits to
the scale. When the
dust settled it was the team of Brett Boldrey and Mike Pitchford
who took the win with a two day total of 27 lbs and 9 oz.
In a big move, the team of Neil McCord and Stephen Sizemore
caught 15 lbs 8 oz on day 2 to move into second place.
