1st place winners J R Barron and Dewayne Azotea, from High Ridge and Curryville, MO, weighed in a nice limit of 5 fish for 15-06 Lbs winning $1,492.00, including Dewayne’s 4-09 Lb bass and J R’s $250.00 in Ranger Cup Bonus Money. They caught their fish on chart/pumpkin colored tubes, flippin rocks and lay downs along the main river channel in about 4-6 feet of water around mid pool area. J R is 60 and is in tires sales. Dewayne is 56 and is retired. 2nd place winners Dave Junk and Loren Lummer, from Quincy, IL, fished smoke tubes, flippin rocks with current in about 4-5 feet of water around the upper pool area. They weighed in 5 fish for 12-70 Lbs winning $713.00, including Dave’s 4-11 Lb smallmouth bass. Dave is 39 and is a fisherman. Loren is 60 and is a machinist. Falcon, Kayser Lure, Stare Flash and Gamemasters sponsor them. 3rd place winner Dan Curless, from Clayton, IL, weighed in 5 fish for 11-59 Lbs winning $207.00. Dan fished a purple jigs flippin rocks and lay downs in 3 feet of water around the south pool area. Dan is 31 and is a fisherman. 22 boats weighed in 87 fish for 150-82 Lbs. 12-5 fish limits.
