ALS Fish for a Cure


Ramie Colson, Jr. and Doug Story TAKE THE WIN!

The 5th annual "FISHING FOR A CURE " bass tournament was held May 26th 2007 to benefit The ALS Association Ky. Chapter (Lou Gehrig's disease).

The tournament was held at Lake Barkley Marina and fishing was good ! There was 28 five fish limits brought to the scales.

 

First place was won by Ramie Colson, Jr. and Doug Story with 22 pounds & 5 ozs. Their fish were caught mostly on jigs and crank baits on the ledges. Their big bass weighed 5-3.

 

Second place was won by Joe White and Kasey Alexander with 20 pounds 12 ozs. They stated they had a 5 fish limit by 7:00 AM and culled the remainder of the day. They caught most of their fish from the ledges also. Their big bass was 5-3.

Third place was won by Donald Cordle, Jr. and Jacob Lyon with19 pounds 14 ozs. Their fish came from the ledges also with the larger fish being caught between 9:00&10:00 AM. They used gigs, crank baits and worms. Their big bass was 5-5.

1st place big bass went to the Gene Grace/Bill Boren team at 5 pounds 13 ozs.

2nd place big bass was tied between the Henry Yamntze/Randy Seabaugh and Donald Cordle, Jr./Jacob Lyon teams at 5-5.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the tournament .
