Beautiful
Lake
of
Egypt
is a power plant lake known for exceptional fall and winter fishing. There
were 42 teams signed up to fish the tournament. The day started out clear,
cool and windy. On day one the first place team of Terry Allen and Robert
Jones reported they caught all their fish early. Fishing weed beds using
top water frogs. They limited out by 8:00 am. Their total weight of 16.88
lbs made them the leaders on the first day. They also had big bass
weighing in at 5.74 lbs earning them $420.00 and trophies.
The
second day of the tournament started out with a safe light take off. There
were only ten qualifiers that where eligible to fish the final day. That
made it a highly competitive day of fishing.

team reported they caught their four fish the same way they did in the
qualifying round of the tournament. Earning the team $2280.00 and Plaques.
2nd PLACE WINNERS

The team said they
fished hard and concentrated on a pattern, They caught fish on day one and
the five fish limit on day two earned them $912.00 and plaques.
3rd
PLACE WINNERS
Mark Jelley & Danny Clark
The third place team of Mark and Danny stuck to their guns and fished the
same fish in deep water they caught to qualify on day one. The five fish
limit on day two earned the team $684.00 and plaques. |
