Glen Dalton and Rusty Rosenthal TAKE THE WIN!

The third event of the spring Choice started out with cloudy skies and a light fog and 48 degree temp that definitely did not shut down the fish at Egypt. The clouds held on till mid day with temps rising up to 68 degrees.  The first place of Glen Dalton and Rusty Rosenthal reported catching all there fish throughout the day using spinner baits in the front end of the lake on main lake points in 5 to 10 foot of water. The team fished the out side edge of the weed beds where the team reported they caught there big fish that earned them $1067.00 for their 17.22 pound sack of fish. The team also entered the option pot worth $150.00. The teams take home for the day totaled up to $1217.00. The team is sponsored by Lowrance, Motor Guide, P-Line, Top brass, Mustad hooks, Tri-State Trolling Motor, Bandit crank baits, Quantum rods and reels and Woodland Lumber CO.   GREAT JOB GUYS!

 

 The second place team of Hunter Grounds and Tim Grounds reported catching all there fish on spinner baits and jigs in 10 to 12 feet of water. The teams 5 fish limit weighing in at 17.19 pounds that earned the team $604.00 and entering the option pot worth $90.00. The team also won big bass of the day that weight in at 5.44 pounds worth $200.00 plus the Golden Eagle Distributing ( BUDWEISER ) Big Bass Bonus of $50.00 for checks totaling $944.00.

 

The third place team of Jerry Bate and Brandon Bate reported catching all their fish in pre-spawn or post- spawn locations on Carolina rigged plastics, jigs and shaky head jigs in 10 to 12 feet of water. The team caught 20 keepers over 17 inches but could not put a kicker fish in the boat. Their 14.59 stringer of fish earned the team $354.00 and entering the option money worth the teams take home totaled $414.00.
