NESWONGER AND RADAKIE TAKE THE WIN!
Lake Egypt, December 30, 2007, by Earl Sigley

The second event of the year had to be rescheduled to 12-30-2007 because of snow and ice on the roads. For a late December you could not have asked for a better day on the water. Early morning temp was 32 degrees and 47 degrees at 3:00 pm weigh in time. Anglers reported that the fishing was tough early and did not pick up till late afternoon.

The first place team of Eric Neswonger and Kyle Radakie reported catching their fish in 10 feet of water using black and blue Lunker lure jigs. The team fished main lake rocky points with the wind pounding against them. The team ended their day with 5 fish that weight in 12.97 pounds earning the team $1100.00 and plaques. GREAT JOB GUYS!

The second place team of Glen Dalton and Rusty Rosenthal reported catching their fish early in shallow water using rattle traps and spinner baits. After the sun came out around 11:00 o’clock the team switched to jigs and caught their big fish. The team also mentioned that they caught a lot of short fish. The team took home checks totaling $350.00.

The big bass winners of the day were Rob Hicks and Roger King. The team reported catching their big fish that weigh in at 4.72 pounds using a black and blue tube fishing in 6 to 8 feet of water. The team earned $130.00 and a very nice plaque.
