Robert Hicks and Roger King TAKE THE WIN!

   The third event of the Winter Choice started out with clear skies and 28 degree temp that definitely did not shut down the fish at Egypt. Anglers reported that they caught a lot of short fish early and the big fish turned on around 11:00 am and continued to bite the rest of the afternoon. The clouds held of till around 4:00 pm to make for a beautiful day with temps rising up to 50 degrees.

 The first place of Robert Hicks and Roger King reported catching their fish using half oz Lunker Lure foot ball jigs in 14 to 18 foot of water. The team caught fish all day long using the same pattern they started out using early that morning to earn the teem $1020.00 for their 14.61 pound sack of fish. The team also caught Big Bass of the day worth $180.00, that earning the team plaques and checks totaling $1200.00. GREAT JOB GUYS!

 The second place team of Dave Thompson and Clint Kendrick reported catching small fish early on main lake points using jerk baits and Carolina rigs with the wind blowing against them in 4 to 20 foot. The team changed up around 11:30 to fisting flatter banks on the main lake using jigs and spinner baits to catch their bigger fish. The teams 5 fish limit weighing in at 14.27 pounds earned the team $539.00 and entering the option pot worth $110.00 the team takes home checks totaling $649.00.

 The third place team of Eric Neswonger and Kyle Radakie reported catching their fish on main lake points using black and blue half ounce Lunker Lure foot ball jigs. The team said they only had 5 keeper bits all day long that weighted in at 13.60 pounds to earn the team $256.00 and entering the option pot worth $66.00 for a total of $322.00.
