The 4th stop for South Central Kentucky was held on May 13th
2006. The Friday Night pre tournament meeting was held at
Burkesville Baptist Church, where all anglers were treated to
grilled chicken and pork shoulder. The ladies of the Church went
out of their way, preparing desserts, and made the anglers feel
right at home. A very special thanks to all of the Church Staff,
the group Joyful Noise, and everyone involved in making this a
very memorable event.
Cool temps gave way to bluebird skies and warm temperatures on
Saturday.
The 1st place team of Doug Coulter & Todd Willson took
advantage of the conditions. The team brought 5 fish to the scales
weighing in at 15.28 lbs to take top honors. The teams 4.17 lbs
kicker Largemouth also took big fish honors, earning them a nice
payday worth $1264.00. The team reported catching all of their
fish flipping jigs in the bushes. Congratulations on a job well
done!
Keith Monson and Gregg Proffitt also reported catching all of
their fish flipping, and brought a nice bag of fish weighing in at
14.93 lbs to secure 2nd place and a check worth $632.00. Finishing
in 3rd, with 12.34 lbs, the team of Rusty and Chris Brandenburg
were rewarded checks totaling $448.00. John Davis and Milton
Hammonds took 4th with 5 fish weighing in at 11.36 lbs, and a
check for $260.00 for their effort.
2nd place Big Fish went to the team of Wade/Allen, with a 3.99 lbs
LM.
The last stop for South Central Kentucky will be held on Barren
