The first place of Billy Walker, Jerry Walker, Jerry Bate, Brandon Bate, reported catching all their fish using Paca Craws in isolated cover right on the bank in less than two feet of water. The team weighted in 27.61 pounds on Saturday and 25.34 pounds on Sunday for a total weight of 52.95 earning the 4 man team checks totaling $7210.00 and the best plagues at any tournament. The team of Jerry Bate and Brandon Bate also had big stringer of the tournament that earned them $200.00 and plaques. The teams sponsor plague went to Walkers Bar and Grill in Zeigler Illinois. GREAT JOB GUYS!
The second place team of Garry Wright, Lonnie Saddler, Gorden Smith, Charlie Glidewell reported catching most of there fish on crank baits and black and blue jigs. The team weight of 20.83 pounds on Saturday and 29.58 on Sunday for a total weight of 50.41 pounds that earned the team $2884.00 and plagues. The third place team of Jack Doan, Ben Doan, Mitch Gosha, Steve Powers reported catching all their fish flipping shallow cover in less than two feet of water using black jigs. The team weight in 30.51 pounds on Saturday and 14.96 on Sunday for a total weight of 45.47 pounds earning the team $2163.00 and plaques. Big bass for Saturday was brought to the scales by Tom Spiller that weight 7.32 pounds and the big bass for Sunday was brought in by Brad Palmer that weight in at 7.06 pounds from the same team that made it in the record books for the 41st annual 4 Man Harkins Sanders Tournament no team hade ever brought in big both days let alone the same boat. The team reported catching both fish on a Lunker Lure Rattlin Shak’n Shad. That earned the team $680.00 each day for a total of $1360.00 and Big Bass trophies each.
