in the winning limit of 5 fish for 20-50 Lbs winning $1,134.00,
including Josh’s 4-72 Lb bass. They caught their fish using red
colored Bomber and Bandit crankbaits, black/blue jigs, fishing
grass in 4-6 feet of water around the north end of the lake. They
had their limit by 8:30 am and culled 12 other fish. Josh is 26
and is a carpenter. Brad is 50 and is a service writer.
2nd
place winners Herman Torluemke and Tom Kerns, from Highland, IL
and St Charles, MO, weighed in 5 fish for 16-26 Lbs winning
$441.00. They found fish hitting white and gold spinnerbaits,
fishing mid lake in grass in about 10 feet of water. Herman is 57
and is a service advisor. Tom is 55 and is maintenance worker.

place winners Jim and Matt Carroll, from Hillsboro, MO, weighed in
5 fish for 14-81 Lbs winning $439.00 including Jim’s $250.00 in
Ranger Cup Bonus Money. They fished red rattletraps in grass beds
in 6-8 feet of water also around mid lake. Jim is 56 and is a
farmer. Matt is 36 and is also a farmer. Ranger Boats and Mercury
Marine sponsor them.
Tom
Zinna, from St Louis, MO, weighed in big bass with a 4-95 Lb bass
winning $210.00. Tom caught his fish on a blue/chrome rattletrap
in weeds in about 8 feet of water. Tom is 51 and in construction
work. 19 boats weighed in 84 fish for 231-00 Lbs. 14-5 fish
