Eric Foister resides in Huntington , IN with his wife Shelley and daughter Savannah . His full time profession is Boys Basketball Coach and Science Teacher at Huntington North HS.  His other passion is Bass Tournament Fishing.  He has been tournament fishing for the last 9 years and fishing since he was old enough to walk thanks to his father’s love of the outdoors.

Tournament Highlights:
*1999 Hoosier Pro Classic Champion with Partner Roger Spaulding

*2000 and 2005 Points Champions, Fishers of Men IN North Division with partner Roger Spaulding

*2004 Finished 5th at Fishers of Men Regional on the Mississippi River, Quincy , IL with partner Roger Spaulding

*2002 Qualified for the Federation State Finals

*2006 Won 3 Anglers Choice Tournaments on KY Lake with partner Jeff Geller, Qualified for AC Regional on Table Rock

* 2006 Finished 27th at Midwest Sportsman Classic on Ky Lake with partner Kevin Willour

* Has won over 10 Fishers of Men, Anglers Choice, and Midwest Sportsman Tournaments the past 5 years

Why he tournament fishes?
“ To me its about competition against the fish not the other competitors.  I love the challenge of figuring out the fish.  A lot of guys get caught up in trying to beat other fisherman and not share info or even help other anglers out.  I have learned that in the end YOU are the one who has to put them in the boat when the day is done.  It’s all about what you do as an angler. “

Favorite Techniques:
“I love to sightfish for both Largemouth and Smallmouth on any lake!!!  I also love to fish offshore structure with a C-Rig or Jig.  But in the end I just love to catch them anyway I can make them bite from a Jig to a Dropshot!!”
