CHRIS
HAUER and JAMIE DAVIS earn the win!!!

The
team of Chris Hauer and Jamie Davis earn the win in the 4th
event of US Anglers Choice Glacier Division. Chris and Jamie spent most of
their day fishing
Lake
Stella
. With low water conditions,
about 4 teams opted not to bring the fiber glass bass boats and brought
small tin boats to get through the culvert to enter Stella from
Washington
. The decision paid off
for a couple of teams. This
is the first year Chris and Jamie are fishing as a team.
They spent most of
their time pre-fishing Stella for this event.
The fish had moved about 100 yards from where the team located the
fish during pre-fishing. They
spent most of their day fishing a large weed hump.
Their fish bit well until noon.
They caught a couple more fish, but nothing to help them at the
scales. The team fished crack baits, jig worms and flukes and pounded some
of the nicer fish on jigs. The
team is currently seeking sponsors and would like to point how good
Stratos Boats have always been good to them.

Place RON MEHR AND PAUL SHIMEK
The
teams pre-fishing went pretty close to plans. This team also opted to
bring a smaller tin boat and go into Stella. The team says they actually
had a tough day, they caught what they thought they may caught but not
more. The fishing was pretty much slow all day and they also fished very
slow all day. The fish were caught in mid- depth water.
3rd
Place CORKY SCANDINATO AND MARIO
SCANDINATO
This
team did very well on
Washington
and opened a few eyes to what
Washington
has to offer. Many local and tournament anglers have been complaining that
Washington
has been off all year, but this team brought fish to the scales that
showed you just have to find them. Corky and Mario also took the PropLite
Big Bass Honors with a beautiful 5.14 Large Mouth, way to go guys!!
