place Team Aaron Larouque & Doug Stanton
They
used a 5-14 lbs lunker largemouth to anchor the 22.12 lbs bag that
bested the field of more than 30 teams. They pitched jigs to all
sorts of different types of cover. They did not have a key pattern,
but to just cover a lot of water. Along with $415.00 for big bass
they took home a $3100.00 pay check for 1st place.
2nd
Place Team of Dusty Mahn & Cody Zdrazil
Cody & Dusty took a different approach for their success. With
the rising water and fallen temps they took the areas ware they had
found fish in practice and down sized their line and lures. They
used Outkast Tackle tubes & 4" stick worms with 1/8oz peged
weights. Worked super slow they put together 8 keeper bites and
capitalized on all of them for a great 2nd place finish.
3rd
Place Team of Tom Kotherbeutel & Bill Jennison
Tom
& Bill battled all the elements to put together a 20.3lbs bag to
take the 3rd place honors.
