From L to R: 1st & BB, Richie Eaves; 2nd, Tim
Kipling; 3rd, Rob Bartholomew
It
was another great spring day and the sun was out for almost the whole
day and the wind was not much to speak of which was a nice change from
previous events. The water temp was in the high 60's to low 70's and
most areas of the river was muddy.
Richie
Eaves made it 2 in a row and topped the field by more that 3.5lbs. He
brought in a 5 fish limit weighing 18.19lbs. This sack also contained
the big fish or the day at 4.21lbs. You could not tell by the weight but
Richie's trolling motor died about half way through the day.
He also mentioned his new Evinrude Etech performed flawlessly.
In
2nd place was Tim Kipling with a full sack at 14.54lbs. His fish were
all caught on beavers and senkos in the lower end of the pool.
Rob
Bartholomew took 3rd place with 13.19lbs. He ran all the way to the dam
at the end of the pool and caught his fish with a Bandit crankbait and a
Strictly Bass FINatic spinnerbait.
