L to R:
3rd, David Fritts, Steve Anderson; 2nd, Shannon Davis, Brett Rudy; 1st,
Neil LeMaster, Richie Eaves
Today
was sunny and nice except maybe for the wind but all-in-all a very good
day for everyone. The water temps were in the upper 60's and the air
temp climbed to the high 70's. The vast majority of team found a limit
but there were few of big fish that this pool normally produces.
First
place honors went to the team of Richie Eaves and Neil LeMaster with a
strong 5 fish limit weighing 16.23bs. They reported a late bite and
culled out all their fish in the last hour of the day near an area that
had produced for them a few weeks ago in the upper end of the pool.
The
runner-up team was Brett Rudy and Shannon Davis with a respectable limit
that tipped the scales at 14.51lbs. Their fish were all caught in the
lower end of the pool basically junk fishing as the fish seemed to bite
on everything they used.
The
third place team of Steve Anderson and David Fritts narrowly missed the
runner-up spot with their
limit weighing 14.47lbs. They ran south as well and caught their big
fish early then found a spinnerbait/crankbait bite later in the day.
