DEETS AND EICKERT BEST THE FIELD!

1st place winners Dan Deets and Shawn Eickert, from Fulton and Clinton, IA, weighed in 5 fish for 13-95 Lbs winning $1,295.00. They caught their fish on white/green spinnerbaits and black/blue jigs, fishing mid-pool in about 3 feet of water. They culled 6 other fish and had a limit by 7:30 am. Dan is 51 and is a millwright. Shawn is 35 and is a factory worker. 

2nd place winners Eric Mullan and Jeff Crow, from Sterling, IL, fished black/blue tubes and white spinnerbaits, in about 3-5 feet of water around mid-pool main channel. They weighed in 5 fish for 13-55 Lbs winning $703.00. Eric is 35 and is a maintenance engineer. Jeff is a truck driver. Top Dog Music, Grass Master’s Lawn Care and Knuckle Deep Music sponsor them. 

3rd place winners Bob Walker and Jon Schneeberger, from Clinton, IA, found fish hitting black tubes and brown buzz frogs in sloughs in about 2 feet of water around mid-pool. They weighed in 5 fish for 13-50 Lbs winning $629.00, including Jon’s 3-42 Lb bass. Bob is 58 and is a teacher-coach. Jon is 44 and is a welder. Grace Marine sponsors them. 

Bob Dulgar, from Rockford, IL, won $250.00 in Ranger Cup Bonus Money, with 5 fish for 10-42 Lbs. 

Scott Anderson, from Aurora, IL, won big bass worth $370.00, with a 3-50 Lb bass, using a watermelon hawg trail, flippin in about 3 feet of water. 35 boats weighed in 136 fish for 315-30 Lbs. 21-5 fish limits. River level 13.8, water temp 69-77, weather sunny, temp 80’s. 39 teams
