From L to R: 2nd, Jon Schroeder; 3rd, Mike Blaesi; 1st & BB,
Ryan Christoffer
The day got off to a rough start due to a delay of almost 2 hours
due to a storm moving through the area that brought a good deal of
lightning and small hail. Once this was gone the day turned out to
be a little cool and windy but the fish seemed to bite well for most
anglers.
The 1st place and Big Bass pot went to Ryan Christoffer with a
total weight of 14.12lbs anchored by the 4.84lbs lunker. He reported
throwing a jig all day along the rip-rap both in and out of current.
His big fish can in the final few minutes while fishing close to the
ramp as waited for the clock to run down.
Runner-up position went to Jon Schroeder with just over 13
pounds. He caught his fish on either a spinnerbait or tubes fished
along shallow wood.
In 3rd place was Mike Blaesi with 11.31lbs. He used a RC Tackle
swimming jig and a spinnerbait to fill his limit. Mike is sponsored
by Kennedy Marine and RC Tackle.
