What
a change of weather anglers got to experience on Saturday for the
Northern Illinois Fishers of Men tournament out of Prairie Du
Chien, WI on pool 10 of the Mississippi River.
Saturday brought thunderstorms in the early morning hours,
followed by rain and clouds for the remainder of the day.
The weather didn’t keep the anglers off the water or from
catching fish. All
anglers reported catching a lot of bass.

First place Luke Berry
and K.C. Schaible
The
first place team was Luke Berry and K.C. Schaible from Rockford,
Illinois. This team
brought in a 5 fish limit that weighed 16.54 lb., this grab the
topped spot by a slim .10 lb. Luke
and K.C. fished the main river channel and used a variety of baits
to catch their fish. They
also had the big bass for the tournament with a 4.01 largemouth.

Second place Paul Malone
and Dan Hayes
The
second place team was Paul Malone and Dan Hayes from Quad Cities,
Iowa and Rockford, Illinois respectively.
Paul and Dan got their 16.44 lb. limit flipping cover.

Fishers

everyone to participate in their final two tournaments in the
Northern Illinois division, July 15 out of Palisades Park on pool 13
and then again in Prairie Du Chien on August 12.
