Place Mike Carter and Pat Wenning dominate the 2nd Denny's Super 30
Wednesday night event of the season catching 18.08 lbs. of largemouth.
Mike and Pat caught most of their winning bag flippin jigs and plastics
into developing milfoil beds in 6-10 feet of water. Mike and Pat
would like to thank Ranger Boats and Denny's Super 30 for their support.
The team took home $840 for their win. 2nd Place Steve Sandberg and Kirk Harrington weighed 5 fish for 17.15 lbs to take second place, and C
3rd Place Chuck McGannon and Jeremy Bester took third place with a 16.09 lb bag.
Each
team took advantage of more active fish. Overall the weights were up
over last weeks tournament. 15 lbs wasn't enough for a few teams to
get into the top 5. Big
Bass of the night was caught by last weeks winners Cal McCracken and Brad
Longerbone. They caught the 5.04 lb largemouth flippin plastics
under a dock. Denny's
Super 30 runs a weekend series as well as eight Wednesday night team
events on Lake Minnetonka. The next event will be next Wednesday the
21st launching from Maxwell Bay on Lake Minnetonka. Denny would like
to give a special thanks to following sponsors for making the events
possible - Feldmann Imports, Ranger Boats, Al's Marine of Rochester,
Evinrude, All-Terrain Tackle, and Minn kota.
