Hours: 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM The Denny's Super 30 Wednesday night tournaments kicked off Wednesday night on Lake Minnetonka with a close finish.
Cal
McCracken and Brad Longerbone took home 1st place and $830 for a 5
fish limit of 17.15 lbs. They caught their winning bag with
multiple techniques, noting a couple of their bigger fish were taken
on All Terrain plastics - A.T. Sticks inside weed lines. They
also targeted the scattered fish by drop shotting and pitching
jigs in medium deep to deep weed beds. Greg
and Eric Schultz finished in second place just 9 ounces back. They
ended up with 5 fish weighting 17.06 ounces. Their big fish was a
4lb 12oz largemouth. They cashed $580 for their second place finish. Third
place was taken by John Hewitt and Gunnar Miesen with a weight of 16.4
lbs. They ended up taking home $380 for the third place finish.
Bob
Pauer and Suesan Pace had took home $220 for the 4lb 15oz largemouth that
ended up being big bass. Denny's
Super 30 runs a weekend series as well as eight Wednesday night team
events on Lake Minnetonka. The next event will be next Wednesday the
21st launching from Maxwell Bay on Lake Minnetonka. Denny would
