The
David Brossard – Keith Brossard team top the field on Sunday, June 17,
2007 at the Anglers Choice, Madison Chain tournament. Even with heavy
recreational boat traffic that accompanied the sunny skies, the duo caught
a five fish limit weighing 16.26 pounds by targeting mid- to deep-level
structure in all three lakes of the chain. They reported catching fish
positioned along 10-15 foot deep weedline edges in the morning. And, they
found weedbeds located in 8-10 feet to be most productive in the
afternoon. The win earned the

in second were Tim Willihnganz and Brian Saari with 15.50 pounds. They
also earned big bass honors with a 4.28 lb largemouth that bit when a rod
was placed down on the deck while netting a white bass early in the
morning! Willihnganz and Saari assembled the remainder of their bag by
slowly presenting finesse lures in deep weeds for post spawn fish. Their
second place finish was good enough for a $650 pay day. In
total, there were 14 teams participating in the event, with 9 of those
teams bringing in a limit. The next Anglers Choice tournament will be held
