Local River Rats Jim and Wade put together a couple of great bags to earn them first place on the Mississippi River at Brainerd.  Jim went 

North to hunt the large river Smallmouth this fisheries known for a five fish limit of 11-5 lbs.  Wade stayed further south and worked timber and rice edges for Largemouth for a limit bag of 16-0 lbs.  Combined they had 27-5 lbs!  Great job guys!

Second place went to the team of Ralph Schwalbausi and Brad Hoffman with a combined weigh of 24-11 lbs.  Third place went to another local team of Jer and Greg Kretzman weighing mostly Smallmouth for 23-14 lbs.  Big Bass honors went to Wade Hollingsworth with a 4-6 lbs lunker. Wade also won the "Big Bag" award with his 16 lb  bag of  largemouth.

It was a great day of fishing and everyone had a great time.  Congratulations and thank you to all the anglers that participated in the first singles team tournaments every held in Minnesota!
