Growing up, my parents moved to the shores of Okauchee Lake when I was only three years old. I still consider Okauchee to be my home water and I’ve been chasing bass there ever since.  I enjoy fishing the many lakes that the lake country area of southern Wisconsin has to offer.  As a tournament angler the large variety of lakes in the area has taught me to be versatile and to keep an open mind to different patterns that maybe emerging on different bodies of water.  My favorite methods include everything from probing deepwater structure to explosive top-water action.

Although I’ve been fishing my entire life, I’ve only been fishing tournaments for the last seven years.  After attending a few local weigh-in’s, I thought “I can catch bass like that”.  Shortly thereafter,  my partner and I entered a tournament where we were fortunate enough to place 2nd..  I immediately fell in love with the sport and have been tournament fishing ever since.  The main circuit I fish is the Wisconsin Alliance of Bass Tournament Anglers circuit. (WABTA)  More information on the circuit is available at WABTA.ORG I also fish many open tournaments throughout Wisconsin .   I have qualified for the WABTA Classic every year I’ve fished the circuit along with numerous tournament wins and top finishes.  My goal for this year is to fish more consistently and place high in the standings for cumulative weight for the year.

When not spending time with my lovely wife Shannon, daughter Ashley and son Alex, I enjoy deer hunting and ice fishing.  In my free time I also enjoy sharing my love of bass fishing with others to help expand our great sport.

Sponsoring me this year is Twin Pine Resort on North Twin Lake , a true trophy lake for many species in Wisconsin ’s beautiful north woods.
