Group Purchases Team Supreme Tackle and Tournaments

Team Supreme Tackle and Tournaments was recently purchased by a group consisting of Jeff and Sam Ritter of Wisconsin, Mike and Cindy Reindel of Iowa and a couple from Indiana to be left unnamed at this point. The new organization will be known as Team Supreme Outdoors. The purchase includes the Team Supreme tackle manufacturing business and assets, the Team Supreme Tournament Trail and assets.

FutureBass spoke with Team Supreme Outdoors partner Jeff Ritter. “We have a lot of rebuilding to do” stated Ritter.  He went on to say “I think it may take some time but we are getting a lot of positive feedback and are confronting the negative feedback as we hear it” Team Supreme has been subject to much negative press due to the recent fraud charges against Nevin Gillette and the ongoing investigation.

When asked about the upcoming championship Ritter stated “We are hoping to run it as scheduled” The National Championship is scheduled to be held on April 16th through April 21st, 2007 at Kentucky Lake. Ritter stated that invitations will go out within the next few weeks to qualifiers.

When asked if the championship package will remain as before Ritter stated “That I can’t answer at this moment but we will try to keep things right where they were”

One of the groups first priorities is to compensate all angler’s, venders and directors owed monies from the 2006 season.

The group plans to run five divisions of Team Supreme Tournaments in 2007.

Iowa Division
Hoosier Division
Savana Division
Truman Division
Super North Division

Team Supreme outdoors intends to maintain national pro-staff relations with Peter Thliveros, Mark Tucker and Kenyon Hill

Although some changes will be made to the local and regional staff members Ritter expects them to be minimal.
