BROVARNEY THUMPER FLIPPIN JIGS

Everyone already know how great Brovarney Swim Jigs are. So you can
only imagine how great there flipping jigs will work. Brovarney
baits has a line of jigs called
Big Thumper Flippin Jigs.
They are available in 5/16, 7/16 and 9/16 oz. Colors are the most
realistic patterns found anywhere. The powdered coat painted heads
are extremely tough, holding up to severe punishments. The skirts
are made and left long enough to trim to your desired length, the
same goes for the hook guard.
The way Brook Rodenbeck fishes the Big Thumper Flippin Jigs.
My personal preference is the 5/16 oz thumper in the craw patterns
with a ZOOM small Salty chunk, in a Rootbeer pep/grn color for a
trailer. I hook this up to a G-Loomis GL-3 , 7'-3" heavy flippin
stick. A Daiwa Pro-caster in 7.3:1, and Suffix Seige 20lb.
The type of structure I like to use these in are broken rock flats,
and gravel areas with depths from 1ft- 10ft. I generally make a long
Pitch towards the shallow water and slowly, But constantly drag the
jig towards the deeper water. This is where the head design of the
Thumper Jig shines above the others. as long as you keep it moving
it VERY seldomly will hang-up. If you do the normal Hop-Hop retreive
the jig will be able to fall into the rocks and we all know what
that causes.
Where I have used them with unequaled sucess is on some of the
river systems and flowages of the state of Wisconsin. Where the
Smallmouth Bass have gone crazy for them. So give Dan Brovarney a
