Brian Jones Biography
Brian Jones is a local bass fishing tournament professional. Brian has been fishing for 30 years. He currently fishes in the Central Pro-Am tournament circuit as well as several charity/benefit tournaments throughout the year. He was introduced to fishing at a very young age by his Father. His accomplished fishing career started very early as he caught a 4 lb. bass on a crankbait when he was only 4 years old. Brian grew up in Jefferson County, Missouri and has resided in Franklin County for the past 11 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia and worked for the Missouri Department of Conservation in Fisheries Management for 10 years. Brian’s fishing career has been very successful due to his years of fishing experience as well as his fisheries biology background. These combined attributes give him an innate ability to make quick and intelligent decisions on the water. His fishing strength is power fishing shallow water cover but he is a very diverse angler that is capable of locating fish anywhere from shallow flats to deep water structure.
